Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Gurdwara is situated in Assam. In 1905, Guru nanak Dev ji visisted Asam as he was travelling from Dhaka to Assam. The visit of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is recorded in the history of recorded activities. The story behind the gurdwara is that the Guru Gobind Singh visited here in 1745 B.K while returning from from  Anandpur after winning the battle of Bhangani. Guru asked the labourers working their for a place to rest over their, but the innocent labourers pointed towards burning kiln and when Guru ji took his horse over that place the kiln become cold. The owner of the Gurdwara Bhatta give a warn welcome to Guru Ji and made this Gurdwara as a tribute to Guru ji and his bravery.

Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha is the biggest temple in Europe. It is situated in southall on on Havelock Road and Park Avenue. It is made up of granite and marbel with stained glass windows and gilded dome. It has two floor gallery which has the capacity to accomodate around 3,000 worshippers. Gurdwara also has a dining room and a library. It was opened on 30 March, 2003 by the Sikhs who immigrated England in early sixties and fifties and it cost $ 1.73 million to build.

It is also considered as the first place where the first guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji first mediated through his journey. The main highlight of this gurdwara is the ber tree which the First Guru of Sikhs, Guru Nanak Dev Ji planted and has now grown into a big tree. Guru ji used to do bath in the Bein River and do mediation for long hours. He stayed here for 14 years 9 months and 13 days. One day while having a bath in the river and disappeared and return home after 3 days, after that Guru ji began his mission of preaching Sikhism.

Gurdwara Data Bandi Chhod is situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. This gurdwara is dedicated to the Guru Gobind  Singh. The story associated with the Gurdwara is of imprisonment of Guru Gobind  Singh and his release and winning the battle to release 52 rajas who had suffered a long  imprisonment in the fort. The Gurdwara depicts a great history how Guru Ji fight against the Mughals for the betterment of people. There are many scruplters and painting in the Gurdwara depicting the story. It is made of white marble and granite with great painting.

Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is located in Delhi, just half kilometer away from Connaught Place. Guru  Harkrishan Dev, the eight Guru of Sikhs stayed here as a royal guest in 1664. As a result it became a place for worship and is known as Bangla Sahib. The water in the tank present in the temple is considered sacred and was distributed by the Harkrishan Dev ji to cure the diseases of people like small pox, chicken pox, cholera. There is a museum in the Gurdwara that depicts the great history of Sikhs.
